A. How it works The Compact would be governed by the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact Commission (“Commission”). This Commission would consist of representatives of each state’s Board. If there is a combined board, like ours, the Board would send two representatives. If the state has separate medical and osteopathic boards, each board would send one representative. Each representative would have one vote. A quorum would consist of a majority of the representatives. Most decisions would be made by a majority of the representatives present.
